Failure is not the end

Nothing works for me. I always fail. I cant move any further. I am gonna quit. Is this your cry today? Be clear that this is not the end. Its just the beginning. No one in this world can say, “I have never failed in my life”. If someone says, “I have never seen failures”, then he has never tried anything in his life.  Failure is not the end. Its the beginning of a beautiful road which leads to success.

Lets look at the life of joseph. Joseph was one among the 12 children of Israel (Jacob). Genesis 37:3,4 says, “Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him”. His brothers were jealous on him and they sold him to the Ishmaelites. The Ishmaelites sold him as a slave to an Egyptian officer’s house.

Did he give up? No, He didn’t. He was faithful to his master. Genesis 39:4 says, “And Joseph found grace in his (master’s) sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.” His master’s wife tempted him to sin, but he fled. saying, “how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” The master’s wife falsely complained against joseph and he was imprisoned.

Still, He didn’t give up. He trusted God and stayed truthful in the prison too. Genesis 39:21,22 says, “But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison. And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph’s hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.”

One day Pharaoh, the King of Egypt dreamed a dream. Genesis 41:8 says, “And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh.”

Joseph got the opportunity to interpret the dream to pharaoh and he interpreted it with the wisdom given by God. Seeing joseph’s wisdom, the King set him over all the land of egypt. A slave became the ruler! Wonderful! Isn’t it? Joseph’s failures eventually made him a man of success. Are you facing a failure today? Believe this is just a part of your success story.

Jesus Christ died on the cross to make you successful. He assures you by His word, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Trust God for He alone can give you success. In everything you do, ask the Spirit of God to guide and you will be a success. “Failure is not the end!”
